IT Network and Security Architect

Task Responsibilities:

  • Design: Develop and maintain network and security blueprints, design secure and scalable network solutions, integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, implement security controls, develop and update security policies and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ie GDPR).
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks, optimize network configurations to improve performance, conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability.
  • Documentation: Document network and security infrastructure, configurations and procedures. Maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance and operational purposes. Provide training and knowledge sharing with the team.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent experience in a computer science or Network & Information security related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar IT Network & Security role.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
  • Proficiency in network security technologies.
  • Ability to design and implement secure network solutions.
  • Understanding of software-defined networking (SDN).
  • Hands on experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Varonis, Waf, SSL VPN, S2S, CyberArk.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth technical knowledge of IT security risks and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to educate non-technical audiences on various security measures/topics.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Team player and ability to work with multiple technical teams and technologies to ensure high security standard of the entire IT landscape.
  • Experience in the airline industry would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Be willing to travel when required within our international organization (more than 50 different countries).

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent contract.
  • Full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • The position holder might have to be an stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents.
  • Standard office hours are to be expected Monday - Friday.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
