Program Manager

Introduction: I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Programme Manager to lead and oversee a comprehensive S/4 transformation programme covering a number of portfolio streams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale SAP implementations, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of SAP technologies across various modules and industries. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, where you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all SAP programme streams, aligning business objectives, and driving performance across the programme lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme Leadership: Take full accountability for the successful delivery of the SAP programme, managing a number of portfolio streams simultaneously, ensuring all streams are aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project teams, vendors, and third-party consultants. Ensure effective communication and reporting to executive leadership.
• Programme Planning and Governance: Oversee the development of detailed programme plans, resource allocation, risk management plans, and governance structures. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to programme timelines and budget.
• Stream Coordination: Coordinate across the portfolio streams, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and business teams. Prioritize initiatives, resolve dependencies, and manage interdependencies to keep the programme on track.
• Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact the programme's success. Implement mitigation strategies and escalate when necessary.
• Change Management: Lead and support change management efforts related to SAP implementations, ensuring smooth transitions for end-users and aligning SAP capabilities with business processes.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and performance of programme resources across multiple streams. Manage internal and external teams, ensuring proper staffing and expertise for each stream.
