We are looking for a highly skilled Tech Lead Unity to take on a pivotal leadership role within our team in our headquarters in Manresa (Barcelona), are you up for this new challenge?

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Unity development and will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Unity Developers and Tech Artists, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality game features and tools. In this role, you will balance hands-on development with technical leadership, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.

As Unity Tech Lead, you will be responsible for: Technical Leadership:

Lead, Mentor, And Manage a Team Of Senior Unity Developers And Tech Artists To Ensure Technical Excellence And Timely Delivery Of Project Milestones.Act As The Main Technical Point Of Contact For The Team, Ensuring Best Practices In Unity Development And Architecture.Drive The Design And Implementation Of Scalable, Maintainable Game Architectures, Ensuring Code Quality And Technical Consistency Across The Project. Hands-On Development

Actively contribute to the project by writing clean, efficient, and optimized code for core systems, gameplay mechanics, and tools.Troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges, guiding the team in debugging and performance optimization efforts.Collaborate closely with Tech Artists to ensure the seamless integration of assets and visual elements into Unity. Project Management:

Work Closely With Product Owners, Designers, And Other Stakeholders To Ensure Technical Feasibility And Alignment With Project Goals.Define And Enforce Code Review Processes To Ensure High Code Quality And Maintainability.Manage Technical Risks And Dependencies, Ensuring The Team Is Equipped To Overcome Challenges. Team Collaboration And Growth

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.Provide technical guidance and mentorship, helping team members grow in their roles and achieve their career goals.Facilitate communication between team members and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow. What skills and attitudes are we looking for? Proven experience as a Senior Unity Developer or Tech Lead, with a deep understanding of Unity's architecture and advanced C# programming.Leadership experience, managing or mentoring other developers and technical artists.Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable game architectures while actively contributing hands-on to the project.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on performance optimization.Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with Technical Artists and other stakeholders.Strong knowledge of backend integration and working with backend systems. Nice to have:

Experience with multiplayer systems and real-time synchronization.Familiarity with Game-as-a-Service (GaaS) models.Experience with shader programming and visual scripting tools.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for game development.
