Data Scientist

Introduction

As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving Data Science frameworks which automate the end-to-end process for data exploration, model building and predicting.
• Building, maintaining, testing and monitoring production pipelines.
• Continuously optimizing the whole code base ensuring efficient running times and resource use, stability, high test coverage, scalability, and smooth user experience.
• Working with large databases, optimizing queries and databases.
• Automating testing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Development & deployment of ML models in Python and relevant Data Science libraries
• Implementing the ML models on AWS using PySpark
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) if applicable
• Computer Vision experience is applicable
• Development of predictive models
• Fluent in both English and Romanian
