Business Analyst

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Business Analyst for the COBIT project will be responsible for analysing business processes and requirements to ensure alignment with the COBIT framework. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of IT governance and management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and document business requirements for the COBIT project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives (facilitate workshops)

Collaborate with IT and business leaders to define and implement governance and management processes based on the COBIT framework.

Analyse current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.

Support the design and implementation of business process improvements, ensuring compliance with COBIT principles and guidelines.

Provide guidance and support to project teams in the application of COBIT practices.

Monitor and report on the progress of the COBIT project, ensuring that milestones and objectives are met.

Conduct training and awareness sessions for stakeholders on COBIT principles and practices.

Document Procedures and process as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with experience in COBIT implementation.

Strong understanding of the COBIT framework and its application in IT governance and management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Project management experience is a plus.

Skills:

Proficiency in business process modelling and analysis tools (Visio)

Knowledge of IT governance and management frameworks, including COBIT.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ability to document and deliver training material

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience: 6yrs to 10yrs
