Mission

As Senior Java Software Engineer, you actively participate in the delivery of external (Customer Solution) and/or Internal IT Projects (Product & Administrative Solutions). You also participate in the Analysis, Estimation, Designing, Building, Testing, Documenting, and Implementing of Customer Solutions

In addition, you maintain and enhance existing solutions (Change Request Delivery) and provide 2nd level support (Support process).

Responsibilities

As Senior Java Software Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:

• Analyze, develop, test, maintain, fix, write supporting document of customer solutions and Speos Administrative solutions.
• Review and improve existing code.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Client Application Development.
• Provide 2nd level support in case of incident / issues with an application, identify root-causes & resolution, deliver bug fix when needed.
• Participate in the creation and validation of functional documentation of a project.
• Take the lead in the creation and validation of technical documentation of a project.
• Build solutions according to agreed specifications, within speos standards & guidelines.
• Test & deploy solutions based on pre-defined acceptance criteria and procedures.

Profile

As Senior Java Software Engineer, you have:

1. A bachelor degree in IT or equivalent by experience
2. At least 5 years of experience in development
3. Very good command in French and English. Dutch knowledge is a plus
4. Experience with the following technologies / tools:

• GMC (Quadient) is a plus
• Java, JavaScript and .Net
• Genkins and Github
• Git & GitLab: Intermediate - Version control and CI/CD
• APIs & Testing: Postman - API development and testing
• Databases: DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB - Querying
• Project Management: Jira, Confluence - Task management and documentation
• Remote Computing: MobaXterm, SSH, SFTP

Preferred:

• Quadient® Inspire Designer & Inspire Content Manager: Experience is a plus
• Visual Basic: Basic - Maintaining legacy services
