The Role

Working as part of a high-performing global data science team to develop cutting-edge AI solutions for the AMD business units, providing leadership on AI/ML projects and promoting the use of AI/ML thorughout the organization.

The Person

The position requires a self-motivated AI expert to work directly with the business teams on diverse data science projects, including:

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI
Forecasting
Deep learning

Preferred Experience

Proficient in using Jupyterhub, Anaconda or similar
Knowledge of Python, Pandas, PyTorch, Numpy, Langchain, Autogen, Langgraph
Knowledge / experience developing neural networks
Visualization libraries such as Plotly, Seaborn, Bokeh or similar
RDBMS, Linux

Desired Skills

Knowledge of working with and fine-tuning generative AI models
Knowledge of vector or graph databases
Knowledge of agentic AI concepts
UI Development frameworks such as vue.js, angular.js, react
Working knowledge of the Dataiku platform
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry
Understanding of semiconductor design, validation and manufacture
Experience of user requirement gathering
A track record of collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver AI solutions
PySpark, Spark, TensorFlow, Keras
Hadoop, Cloudera, Snowflake
Knowledge of ROCm platform

Academic Credentials

Minimum undergraduate degree in Computing | Data Science | Mathematics or similar
