Consulting – Industry Practice – Solution Architect & Leader

To help clients achieve their business challenges, the Industry practice, focusing on energy & technology, supply chain and public transport, implements complex solutions, specific to these sectors, in an end-to-end way, based on the most modern technologies and architectures with Agile project teams.

To support our growth ambition, we are looking for a Functional/Technical Solution Architect and Business Leader with high drive to strengthen the team.

Your Role

• From an in-depth understanding of a market functioning and future evolutions in a specific market (energy, supply chain, public transport, …), be able to develop a target reference architecture and to develop potential transition roadmaps
• Based on a strong technical background and considering market challenges identified, screen the market for interesting solutions, both in the classical world as in the innovation world, to solve business challenges
• Collaborate with solution and technology partners to define and implement the best solution taking the criteria and requirements from the customer into account
• Assess client IT landscapes, spot the weak points and develop modernization strategies and roadmaps
• Deliver IT architectures and integration architectures at the different stages of the execution of a roadmap to support our customers in their digital transformation journey
• Interact with the business – understand the strategy and how IT can enable this strategy
• Present ideas, architectures, solutions, roadmap in a convincing way to the team and to customers and interact through workshops in a consultative selling way
• Strong collaboration skills with team members
• Assist the technical team with the implantation of the designed solutions & act as coach and mentor to team members
• Inspire proposal teams, lead the solutioning, and write commercial proposals
• Actively participate to an innovation eco-system based in Belgium to screen and collaborate with startups against a specific given scope
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor towards our clients, develop their interest in DXC services
• Keep your knowledge up to date through technology watch opportunities
• Be instrumental in expanding our business in different functional domains
• Provide cross-functional technical leadership across all solution components
• Deliver consulting missions with passion, to client satisfaction
• Lead the technical teams in the implementation of the designed solutions
• Collaborate with partners on customer opportunities
• Ultimate responsibility for the quality and pertinence of proposals
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience of 5 years in IT architecture in more than one domain: enterprise, solution, applications, cloud, infrastructure, security, …
• TOGAF certification level 1 & 2
• Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across several technologies
• Strong technical project leadership capabilities and be able to deal with complex issues
• Ability to interact with customers regarding business and technical information
• Strong estimating skills. Ability to provide input for Pricing.
• Demonstrate strong team building skills - ability to work as a team
• Understanding of frameworks such as ITSM/ITIL, COBIT, IT4IT, … is a plus
• Share relevant or useful information in a timely manner
• Demonstrate strong initiative to learn with minimal direction
• You have excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, in Dutch or French and English. You can write proposals in these languages
