As a Data and Analytics Consultant, you will leverage your analytical expertise to help organizations transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with clients across various industries to understand their business challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and implement analytics frameworks. Your role will involve managing end-to-end projects, from gathering requirements and data modeling to reporting and visualizing insights. This position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, improve clients' operational efficiency, and create actionable strategies based on data.
- Collaborate with clients to define business objectives and data needs.
- Analyze large datasets and develop models to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and implement data architecture and data warehousing solutions.
- Build dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics where applicable.
- Advise clients on data governance, data quality management, and best practices in data handling.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure analytics align with business goals and support decision-making processes.
- Lead and manage end-to-end data analytics projects, including scope, timeline, and deliverables.
- Provide training and guidance to client teams on using analytical tools and interpreting data insights.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in data analysis, business intelligence, or data consulting roles.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch or French are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience working with clients in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or government sectors.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations in Belgium and Europe (GDPR).
- Certification in data analytics or related tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
