Your Mission:

As a Senior Product Designer for Engagement, you will be fundamental in shaping the future of financial independence for millions of customers. At Bitpanda, we’re removing the barriers to access new opportunities for wealth generation, and you’ll deliver remarkable and effortless experiences to enter and keep up with the financial playing field, empowering people to make their financial freedom a reality.

You will own the experience design of user-centric products and initiatives focused on boosting user engagement and long-term retention, such as asset discovery, personalisation, and loyalty programs. Your mission is to craft delightful, intuitive, and impactful solutions that resonate with our users and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do 

• Design Engaging Experiences: Create mobile and desktop experiences that drive user engagement, meet individual needs, and enhance user satisfaction.


• Own End-to-End UX Initiatives: Manage projects from start to finish, including running design sprints and collaboration sessions, sketching, wireframing, prototyping (low to high fidelity), user testing, and presenting to stakeholders.


• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to turn user insights and business needs into hypotheses and solutions, balancing user and business value through exploration, definition, and validation.


• Conduct User Research: Gather user feedback from interviews and usability tests to iterate and improve designs, ensuring they meet user needs and align with Bitpanda’s tone of voice.


• Mentor and Advocate: Support peers, act as a voice for user experience, and help the team operate efficiently while maintaining a high level of design maturity.


• Measure Impact: Demonstrate the value of design by delivering experiences that align with Bitpanda’s vision, strategy, and measurable goals.

Who you are 

• You bring a range of UX design skills, including strong UX research or content design capabilities, and excel at handling projects with minimal direction in a dynamic environment.


• You are passionate about understanding user behavior and needs, leveraging UX research, and translating insights into innovative designs and you work seamlessly with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, constraints, and priorities.


• You continuously build knowledge of customer problems by conducting investor-facing studies and seeking feedback from peers in various disciplines. You know how to incorporate qualitative and quantitative data into your design process to validate your decisions and measure success.


• You have 3+ years of experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to ship engaging experiences, utilizing tools like Figma, Miro, and JIRA.


• You have a passion for financial products. Experience in fintech or a high-growth tech environment is a plus.


• You stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies, always looking for ways to improve your craft and contribute to a forward-thinking team.
