Senior Full-Stack Automation Engineer

As an Engineering Delivery Support team member, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our development processes and enhancing developer productivity. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining robust automation solutions that optimize our build pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development:

  • Maintain efficient and scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks like Node.js, Vite, and NX.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
  • Contribute to the development of server-side applications and APIs as needed.

Automation Engineering

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve build processes.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures and deployment problems.

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Understand common cloud topologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their deployment strategies.
  • Work with infrastructure teams to provision and configure cloud resources.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Developer Advocacy

  • Advocate for developer experience and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development workflows and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to developers.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  • Experience with Node.js and backend development (Express, NestJS, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proficiency in build tools and automation frameworks (Webpack, Rollup, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of release management processes and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for automation and improving developer workflows

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Dropwizard framework
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with security best practices and vulnerability scanning tools
