Job Description

SUMMARY

The M&A Project Manager will be responsible for aiding decision making in all aspects of M&A projects, including valuations and due diligence work streams. As such, the role requires a sharp, analytical mind, a can-do attitude, attention to details and a strong commitment. In this role s/he will grow his/her skills in strategic thinking, cross-team coordination, industry and financial analysis.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Participate to all aspects of deal evaluation, including financial analysis, valuation exercise, due diligence, transaction documentation, internal approvals process;
  • Provide value added financial guidance in support of deal advancement, by way of research and financial analysis (notably valuation model; synergies assessment);
  • Collaborate with other teams to synthesize industry/segment dynamics and all aspects of the business case development (strategic rationale, financial analyses) and support execution (e.g., due diligence, approvals process documentation);
  • Coordinate with counterparties, advisors and investment partners;
  • Summarize relevant current events, critical issues, and relevant news to all stakeholders in a transaction;
  • Working closely with members of the team on deals including senior management.


Qualifications

  • Master/MBA caliber individual;
  • Fluent English;
  • 2-5 years of work experience in M&A, corporate finance, corporate development or strategy;
  • Experience managing the day-to-day execution of different types of M&A processes;
  • In-depth experience modeling acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic analysis, scenarios / sensitivities and synergy analyses;
  • Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and accounting;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
