We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join an Amach team working closely with one of our clients. This position is part of a major Data Programme that impacts multiple areas of our client's business, from customer engagement to operations. In this position, you are expected to work from our customer's Dublin office at least once a week.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in a Machine Learning Engineer role or similar
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as Keras or PyTorch
• Python development experience, ideally with Spark or PySpark
• Experience in cloud development (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong software development standards and practices
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
  
  

Key responsibilities & duties include:

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms, AI applications, and systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, administrators, data analysts, engineers, and architects on production systems and applications
• Transform data science prototypes by applying suitable machine learning algorithms and tools
• Run machine learning tests, document results, and refine processes as needed
• Maintain and monitor machine learning systems and models, with regular updates and retraining as required
• Build optimised data pipelines to support machine learning models
• Work closely with business partners to clarify and enhance machine learning objectives
• Extend and improve existing machine learning libraries and frameworks
