Lead Network Engineer

About This Role

We are looking for a rockstar Lead Network Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper Networks and a solid understanding of network fabrics such as InfiniBand or RoCE. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage our complex network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable, high-performance network architectures, ensuring seamless integration of Juniper-based solutions.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Juniper technologies, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Juniper networks to ensure high availability and security.
• Design and manage network fabrics, optimizing performance for low-latency, high-throughput data communications.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, and lead network-related projects to meet business objectives.
• Complete other tasks as necessary to contribute to the progress of the company.
  
  

For this role you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Proven expertise in Juniper Networks technologies, including certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in working with Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with network fabrics such as InfiniBand or RoCE.
• Cisco certifications or training (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are desirable.
