Role Overview

Scaler is seeking for a Global HR Manager who will focus on employee relations and performance management to help create a supportive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. This role will center on strategies to enhance employee performance, support their development, and ensure alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate will have experience managing HR policies with a global scope, particularly across the Netherlands and the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and workplace issues while ensuring compliance with global employment laws and regulations, including Dutch and U.S. labor laws.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance management processes, including employee recognition and awards programs, ensuring they align with local and global practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee understanding of HR policies, workplace rights, and performance management best practices, tailored to regional regulations and cultural nuances.
  • Collaborate with teams to create and execute initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, boost morale, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention across multiple regions.
  • Develop and manage HR policies with a global perspective, ensuring compliance with local regulations in the Netherlands, the USA, and other relevant regions while maintaining consistency across locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in human resource management or a related field.
  • At least five years of HR experience at a management or senior level, with a strong emphasis on employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the Netherlands, the USA, and experience adapting global policies to local requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with employees and managers across diverse cultures and regions.
  • Experience in creating and implementing employee engagement and retention programs tailored to global teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess trends, identify challenges, and propose practical solutions that address regional and global needs.

Compensation Range: €70K - €100K
