Job Description

We are looking for a talented, technical, proactive, energetic, and passionate person who embraces challenges and is a proven problem solver. You will be a part of multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of REST Service APIs, Back-end Batching applications, and Web Front-End User Interfaces that are highly functional, secure, scalable, and robust. You will own and drive projects from start (gathering requirements) to finish (release into production). Team consists of a Dev Manager, developers, and QA engineers with local Configuration Management and Database Engineering support.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities

• You’ll help our customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs.
• You’ll use technologies that include Java, JavaScript, REST, SQL, NoSQL, and more.
• You will analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution.
• You’ll leverage new technologies to build the next generation of business monitoring tools
• You’ll develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them end-end
• You have the work and academic experience that will demonstrate proficiency and ease with programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages and operating systems
• You create and follow software best practices and processes.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+years of Software Development Experience or a Masters degree.
• You are a Java, Java EE, Spring expert with relevant experience designing and building large scale enterprise Java applications.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in leading application servers such as SpringBoot and Tomcat.
• You have experience with REST APIs, JSON and exposure to container-based technologies.
• You have strong experience with Agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Gradle, Junit.
• Proficiency with Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and analysis
• Strong knowledge and working experience in relational database technology: SQL, JDBC, DB2, MySQL
• Experience with JavaScript and front end technologies/frameworks like JQuery, Angular
• Familiarity with no-SQL database technology: Elasticsearch
