Information Security Specialist

Strategic Staffing Solutions International is looking for a Information Security Specialist to lead security initiatives at our customer. You will ensure the company’s security measures align with internal policies. This role involves working with both local and international teams, handling security incidents, and maintaining security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce the company's security program in line with internal policies.
• Collaborate with global teams on security projects and address local issues.
• Work with IT and other departments to support security goals.
• Organize internal security audits.
• Respond to local security incidents and manage breaches.
• Perform risk assessments as part of the company's programs.
• Stay updated on security threats and technologies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to IT system security.
• Review security-related parts of contracts and agreements.

Key Requirements:

• Good understanding of IT systems and security protocols.
• Experience managing security projects and making risk-based decisions.
• Familiar with cloud security, information systems, and application security.
• Work with different departments to introduce new security measures.
• Available to work flexible hours for global projects.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and handling security incidents.
• Willing to join large, international security projects.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of security standards like NIST, ISO 27001/2, and PCI DSS.
• Experience managing security projects.
• Up-to-date with security threats and industry trends.
• Technical skills in security tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills for managing security risks.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC).
• Good communication skills for explaining security topics to non-technical people.
