Internship (Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science) in a Fashion Tech startup

stoodioAI is is a Cologne based startup. As one leading startup in AI-generated fashion imagery it pushes the boundaries of fashion photography and design by harnessing the power of Generative AI to help increasing efficiency and conversions while slashing the launch time and creating stunning visuals.

Tasks

  • Research and develop advanced machine learning models to improve the generative capabilities of stoodioAI’s platform
  • Collaborate with the AI team to integrate new models into the existing systems
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to enhance image generation quality, focusing on fashion imagery
  • Work with development of end-to-end solution in cross functional teams
  • Deploy AI models on AWS and other cloud platforms
  • Document and present research findings in a comprehensive thesis aligned with academic requirements (incase of mandatory intenrhsip)

Requirements

  • Ideally enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field in an NRW-based University
  • Proven academic background in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or related areas
  • Background in computer science
  • Prior experience or coursework in image processing or generative models (stable diffusion, flux etc.) is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Preferred qualification: Full stack development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Node etc.)
  • Must haves:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • And a good portion of humour and positiveness
