We're currently looking for a Network Engineer to undertake an initial 6-month contract with further extension for one of our top-tier clients!
They are ideally looking for a engineer with strong experience in Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solution & Network Automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deplot and support Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions
- Troubleshoot SDWAN, WAN, LAN and wireless network issues
- Identitfy opportunities for network automation and process improvement
- Develop and maintain network documentation and policies
Required experience:
- 10 + years in network engineering
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with SD-WAN Viptela solutions
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP or higher certification (CCIE preferred)
- Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and technologies (MPLS, VPN)
- Expertise in network automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.)
- Experience with firewall technologies
- Strong expertise and experience of routing and switching platforms (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus)
- Experience in tuning / optimizing network monitoring, logging and anomaly detection tools such as Extrahop, Splunk, and Thousandeye
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
