Coolbet is looking for a Reporting Engineer to join our team! This role is key to ensure our reports meet regulatory and business needs. You will be responsible of developing and maintaining our reporting package, which helps us and our B2B clients succeed on iGaming market. You have an opportunity to work closely with Data Warehouse and software developers, to optimize the reporting system and ensure new product developments find their way into the reports. To succeed in this role, you need excellent SQL skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A Sneak Peek into Your Role

• Using SQL to build efficient reports that are running on large datasets within the Postgres database.
• Developing reports that are complying with regulatory, in-house, and B2B client reporting requirements.
• Analyzing dependencies between various reports, ensuring data consistency and reconciliation.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of the existing regulatory reports portfolio and keeping reports up to date with developments in Coolbet's products.
• Troubleshooting existing reports and finding ways to improve query performance and data integrity.
• Identifying technical debt in our reporting solutions and participating in the elimination of it.
• Writing and maintaining data transformation, regulatory reporting, and KPIs-related documentation.
• Cooperating with the DWH team to implement new Data Warehouse features if required data has not been found.

You're good at

• You have prior experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer with a strong background in developing reports.
• You have extensive knowledge about how to write efficient queries in SQL.
• Understanding relational databases (especially Postgres) and their architecture.
• Solving problems like a pro, taking the lead and working independently.
• Being adaptable and open to shifting priorities when needed.
• Some Python or JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge and experience with tools like Prefect or Telerik is a plus.
• Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction.
