Manager, Installation and Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Installation and Maintenance to join our energetic and progressive team. You will lead the telecommunications service delivery processes, ensuring high quality of our service levels, profitability and working atmosphere. In this role you will contribute to the success of the team and develop our operations with new ideas. The vacancy is in the Connectivity business, where we help our customers deliver mobile and fixed network services and ensure their functionality. We are involved in all phases of the telecommunications network lifecycle, responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of fixed and wireless telecommunications networks.

Duties and responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the operational activities of your unit's production and field work: you monitor compliance with working hours and work instructions and ensure the fulfilment of occupational safety requirements. You take care of the availability and quality of your unit's resources according to your work order and invoicing needs.
• Performance responsibility for your own unit: together with the production management and the team, you set goals and define the means to achieve them. You monitor profitability and ensure that service levels and profit targets are achieved, if necessary by taking measures to ensure profitability.
• You monitor the quality of work and delivery reliability to the customer. You react to possible shortcomings in delivery reliability and ensure that customer feedback and complaints are handled appropriately to meet customer expectations.
• You are responsible for the development of personnel competence and occupational safety: you take care of the training and safety practices of installation personnel and the procurement of equipment in accordance with occupational safety regulations.
• You approve the unit's hourly entries, travel invoices and purchase invoices and check their correctness. You participate in the conclusion of subcontracting agreements and ensure that subcontractors operate in accordance with the agreed terms, supported by the procurement team.

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical or telecommunications engineering (or equivalent) or experience in a results-oriented role
• Previous experience as a supervisor and evidence of successful leadership that supports team commitment.
• Understanding of project budgeting and financial management.
• Good pressure tolerance and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills, as well as negotiation and influencing skills with various stakeholders.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage
