Front-end Developer

For my International client I am seeking a Front End Developer with 10 years IT experience including at least 5 years as a Software and Application Developer. This is a contract assignment, initially for 6 months but extensions are possible. The work needs to be conducted on site at the client offices in Strasbourg. Remote or hybrid working is not possible on this project.

What will your tasks and responsibilities be ?

• Building complex, scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks.
• Developing responsive and visually appealing UIs with Tailwind CSS.
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Optimizing build pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectural solutions.
• Review system performance and suggest improvements for scalability and efficiency.

The skills and experience we are seeking

• Hold at least a High School Certificate
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, including 5 years of experience as software and application developer
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Typescript, React, Next.js, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js
• Minimum 1 year active work experience with UML or CASE tools for modelling and development
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and CSS3
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks like Jest and Vitest
• Experience with Vite, Webpack or similar
• Knowledge of Git (including GitFlow, GitHub, and GitLab workflows)
• Experience with TDD, BDD, and collaboration tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Npm/Yarn
• Familiarity with VS Code or IntelliJ
• Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes and containers (e.g. Docker)
• Good knowledge of the web services
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum workflows
• Experience with solution architecture
• Good knowledge of the development of web and multi-tiers web applications
• Ability to understand the IT design models and specifications to be used as a basis for the programming
• Experience with React Native is considered an advantage
• Familiarity with Node.js and GraphQL is considered an advantage
• Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3) and Docker is considered an advantage
• Experience with libraries like ShadCN, RadixUI, or Material-UI is considered an advantage

Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level
