[Job Description]

💡Contexte

As a Product Manager, you will join the Product team, and will report directly to Ségolène, our CPO. You will take ownership of defining, designing, and delivering innovative products that leverage the latest payment standards, including ISO 20022, while addressing the evolving needs of our clients in the fintech and B2B space.


👉Your missions


1. Define a winning payment product strategy

  • Payment outcome-based roadmap: set a clear vision and strategic goals for Skaleet’s payment products, aligning with the company’s overall objectives and customer needs
  • Market analysis: stay updated on trends in payment systems (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, SCT Inst, Card PSP) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 20022) to ensure the product remains competitive and future-proof
  • Stakeholder collaboration: engage with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, business teams, and clients, to shape the product’s direction


2. Lead design and development efforts

  • Technical collaboration:work with technical teams to architect modular, API-first payment solutions aligned with global standards such as ISO 20022, EPC23, MX format
  • Regulatory adherence:Ensure full compliance of payment systems with evolving regulations, including PSD3 and Open Banking frameworks
  • Release cycles: lead feature development cycles, coordinating closely with Agile Project Managers and QA teams to ensure robust testing and quality releases
  • Migration: Spearhead the migration of payment schemes and new use cases to enhance system functionality and efficiency


3. Engage and align stakeholders

  • Client engagement: understand customer pain points and translate them into actionable product requirements and user stories
  • Internal training: support sales, customer success, and operations teams with the knowledge and tools to promote and implement payment features effectively
  • Cross-functional coordination: act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery


4. Measure and optimize performance

  • Analyze performance: track KPIs related to adoption, transaction efficiency, and user satisfaction to evaluate the product’s success
  • Identify improvement areas: use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for enhancement in the payment processes
  • Continuous innovation: iterate on features based on customer feedback and emerging payment trends to keep the product competitive and innovative

[Desired Profile]

✨ You are a great match if :

  • Education: Master’s degree from a top-tier business or engineering school.
  • Experience: minimum of 4 years in a fintech or a bank as a Product Manager.
  • You have an excellent understanding of financial products for both individuals and businesses, including accounts, cards, payments, SEPA, PSD2, and loans.
  • You are well-versed in the banking sector and its inner workings (APIs, customer data management, compliance, payment and card flow operations, and key rulebooks).
  • Languages: Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, an excellent team player.
  • You thrive on challenges, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoy the energy of scale-ups.
  • Bonus Points: Previous experience in an international or European setting is a plus.


🤝 About your future manager

Ségolène joined Skaleet in 2017 as a Product Owner and has grown into the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) since 2021.Her main objective is to support, structure and accelerate the economic growth of the company. I own the product vision and strategy and oversee all elements of the product from conceptualization to delivery performance.
