Senior Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager – Venture Capital & Blockchain to join our dynamic team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, blockchain technologies, and digital assets. You will play a key role in identifying investment opportunities, managing portfolio companies, and driving strategic growth in the blockchain and Web3 space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead investment strategies and deal execution in blockchain and Web3-focused startups.
• Conduct in-depth market research, due diligence, and risk assessment of potential investments.
• Manage and support portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance on business development, regulatory compliance, and fundraising.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, founders, and industry stakeholders.
• Analyze emerging trends in blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and tokenization to identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory frameworks related to digital assets and venture capital.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings.
• Lead internal initiatives to enhance investment processes and portfolio performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or blockchain-related investments.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, token economics, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing investment deals.
• Experience in managing and scaling startups, particularly in fintech, Web3, or digital assets.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting blockchain and cryptocurrency investments.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the industry.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
