Performance Tester – 12 Month Contract

Performance Tester – 12 Month Contract, Dublin City Centre, Public Sector

What’s involved:

• Work with delivery teams to gather system requirements and performance criteria.
• Define the scope of performance testing activities.
• Write test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter
• Develop complex scripts for frontend and backend systems using programming languages like C and Java, and scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
• Set up and configure test environments across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Experience of Load, Soak, Scalability and Stress performance testing.
• Execute performance tests and capture critical performance metrics.
• Monitor system performance and solutions

What you need:

• 7 Years experience in a similar position
• Strong Performance testing experience
• Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Unix/ Linux
• Programming language C/ Java
• Scripting Perl/ Python

What’s on offer:

• Hybrid working- 2 days a week on site
• Strong possibility of contract extension
