I am seeking a Senior Lead Frontend Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. This permanent and hybrid role offers a chance to work on state-of-the-art software solutions that are driving the digital transformation of vehicles worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex frontend applications to ensure top performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code using modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Implementing responsive, mobile-first designs that deliver a seamless experience across all devices.
  • Collaborating with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration of frontend interfaces with APIs and backend services.


Technical Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Providing technical leadership within the frontend engineering team, making architecture decisions, and guiding technology choices.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers to foster growth and development within the team.
  • Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure all code meets high-quality standards and aligns with technical goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends and sharing insights with the team.


Performance Optimization and Quality Assurance:

  • Optimizing frontend code and assets to ensure fast load times, smooth interactions, and resource efficiency.
  • Implementing and maintaining testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, to ensure frontend reliability.
  • Monitoring and analyzing frontend performance using tools like Lighthouse and WebPageTest, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Working closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into high-quality code that reflects the intended user experience.
  • Collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.


Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Driving continuous improvement within the frontend engineering team by enhancing processes, tools, and technology stacks.
  • Leading or contributing to initiatives aimed at improving the developer experience, such as automating workflows or adopting new frontend frameworks.
  • Experimenting with and implementing new features or technologies to gain a competitive edge or improve user experience.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in frontend development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web and mobile applications. You worked in the automotive industry, or IOT, or embedded or connectivity.
  • Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in frontend build tools and task runners like Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
