Software Engineer

Job Opportunity: Software Engineers (Junior & Senior) – Dublin (Hybrid, onsite 1 day per week)

We are hiring two talented Software Engineers (1 Junior, 1 Senior) to join an exciting greenfield project based in Dublin. If you're passionate about API development and have an interest in sustainability, this could be the perfect role for you!

• Location: Dublin (commutable distance, with 1 day per week in the office)
• Duration: Initial contract (6 months)
• Start Date: ASAP

About the Project:

Join a cutting-edge project focused on sustainability. You’ll be building APIs that allow products to assess carbon emissions during their design process, directly contributing to sustainability efforts.

Positions Available:

1. Junior Software Engineer (2+ years' experience, €300 per day)
2. Senior Software Engineer (5+ years' experience, €500 per day)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust APIs in a backend-focused environment (no user interface or frontend development required)
• Work with TypeScript and AWS technologies to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaborate on building APIs related to sustainability and carbon emission assessments

Critical Skills:

• Strong experience in API development and TypeScript
• AWS knowledge (preferred)
• Security principles: Required for the Senior Engineer, but not for the Junior role
• Experience working on backend systems; frontend skills a bonus, but not necessary
• Passion for sustainability and green tech
