Your job

As an AI Engineering intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic realm of Generative AI and Machine Learning. Collaborating with our MLOps team, you will create and manage our existing Data Science and AI infrastructure to identify new opportunities and suggest enhancements. Your innovative ideas will contribute to shaping the future of AI applications within our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the MLOps Team to gain insights and contextual understanding.
• Further develop our AI infrastructure and applications.
• Analyzing the current Data Science and AI setup to pinpoint enhancement opportunities.
• Proposing improvements and exploring new possibilities in AI.
• Introducing fresh ideas and perspectives to the MLOps Team.

You will be part of the MLOps team of 4-6 members, working collaboratively to deliver future-ready applications using the latest technologies.

Your profile

We are seeking innovative and driven interns to help advance ABN AMRO's data science capabilities.

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university and pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• You possess skills in programming languages and technologies such as Python, Javascript / Typescript, Bicep/Terraform and Azure (or cloud equivalent)
• You have an analytical mindset and a strong affinity for data.
• You are results-oriented and a team player.
• You have excellent English communication skills.
• You are available to start before 1st of May, and can commit to a full-time (36-40 hours per week), 6-month internship.
• You can work at least two days a week at our Amsterdam Zuid office.
• You are expected to graduate in 2025
