What you will do

• Enhance usability, quality, and feature set for our Records Management System (RMS) and Booking products;
• Design and build a reusable client integration system following secure cloud software best practices (from start to finish);
• Collaborate with design and product teams to gather requirements, estimate tasks, plan sprints, and deliver on schedule;
• Plan and estimate construction and delivery timelines with accuracy;
• Contribute to technical documentation and automate build and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency;
• Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding for new team members;
• Review code submitted by other software engineers, and submit your own code for review as part of our pull-request deployment process.
  
  

Must haves

• 4+ years of experience in software development for technology companies;
• 3+ years of experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred);
• High level of proficiency in Java and SQL;
• Knowledge of and/or prior experience with microservices architecture;
• DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement;
• Direct experience in technical product ownership – building complex features from start to finish;
• Demonstrated experience improving stability, performance, and scalability of complex software platforms and products;
• Self-motivated, passionate, and excited to build and own products from end to end;
• A proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and consistently produce high-quality, impactful results;
• Upper-intermediate English level.
