Company Overview:

Our client is a leading med tech company based in Switzerland, specialising in AI-driven medical devices and digital health solutions. They are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join their team on a contract basis and help develop innovative and enhance patient care.

Role Overview:

Responsibility for developing and optimising machine learning models and data analytics solutions to improve medical devices and healthcare platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI insights into product development and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Model Development: Design and implement machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics, medical imaging, and decision support systems.
• Data Analysis: Clean, preprocess, and analyse large medical datasets to support AI model development.
• Model Optimisation: Ensure AI models are accurate, scalable, and comply with industry regulations
• Collaboration: Work with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into medical devices.
• Validation & Testing: Validate AI models in clinical environments to assess real-world effectiveness.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, preferably in healthcare or med tech.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience working with clinical or medical data (imaging, wearables, EHRs).
• Expertise in AI/ML model development and optimisation.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data tools is a plus.
