Team Lead Product Design

What does this role entail?

• Lead the development, implementation, and evolution of a unified design system for our security software products, including considerations for mobile app design.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate user-centered design principles into our software development process.
• Guide, mentor, and support a team of two junior designers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively.
• Define and implement best practices, workflows and processes for UI/UX, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility across all products.
• Advocate for design within the company, demonstrating the value of design in improving user experience and business outcomes.
  
  

You’ll thrive in this role if

• Experience in UI/UX design, as well as in a leadership or senior design role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in enterprise software, security software, or B2B applications.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Storybook.
• Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Vue) to effectively collaborate with engineers.
• Experience integrating design into Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Comfortable working in a post-merger environment, aligning different design philosophies and workflows.
