Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role reports to our Head of FP&A in Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting datasets to support data-driven decision-making. This role involves building financial forecasting, performing scenario analysis, utilizing time series modeling, and integrating both internal and external market data to generate comprehensive insights. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that drive the organization’s strategy and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Building business models to support forecast and budgeting.
• Collaborate with different departments, combine internal data with market data from external resources (e.g., industry reports, market trends, competitor analysis) to deliver a holistic view of business performance.
• Apply time series modeling techniques to predict trends, seasonality, and future behavior of key business metrics.
• Collect, clean, and analyze datasets, develop, maintain, update dashboards and reports
• Data update and maintenance for the FP&A system
• Support data-driven projects, including Cost reduction, investment appraisals, Sales pricing strategy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, attention to details
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar .
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience with business modeling, scenario analysis, and time series based on both internal and external data sources.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday adaptive, NetSuite).
  
  

Location

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:

• Relocate with us and work from Amsterdam or Eindhoven in the Netherlands, or Bologna, Florence or Milan in Italy.
