Description:

Khalifa University and the College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences seek applicants for several open-rank faculty positions at the Department of Computer and Information Engineering.We seek applicants who will strengthen our research and education programs in core and emerging areas of computer and information engineering, including but not limited to.

1. Digital design and FPGA prototyping.
2. Computer Architecture
3. Quantum computing.
4. Robotics.
5. Neuromorphic computing and hardware accelerators for AI.

Required Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Record of excellence in teaching as appropriate to the applicant’s academic experience.
3. Record of success in securing and managing funded research projects, and graduate student supervision

Additional Qualifications:

1. Outstanding publication record in top journals (Q1) and conferences in the applicant’s research interests area.
2. Outstanding communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and commitment to a career of academic excellence and innovation.
3. Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
