Quality Assurance Engineer

Fully Remote

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help improve an open-source platform for updates of connected devices. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with developers, create automated and manual test strategies, and drive improvements in our testing processes.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a track record of delivering high-quality software for SaaS products and/or embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of test design and execution, including functional, performance, and security testing.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Programming and scripting experience for automation testing (Python, pytest, shell scripting, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of Go, C, and C++.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker Compose.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub/GitLab CI.
• Fluency in English for effective communication in a global team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Playwright or Robot Framework for test automation.
• Knowledge of security testing best practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Passion for improving and optimizing testing strategies and processes.
