We are now looking for a Junior Firmware Engineer to join our fantastic R&D team where you will work across a variety of projects and products, contributing to every stage of the product lifecycle—from design and testing to validation and production. The firmware you develop will directly power our robots and various modules, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values creativity, continuous learning, and meaningful contributions.

Task and Responsibilities:

  • Assess challenges, propose solutions, and implement them by writing efficient and effective code.
  • Collaborate on development tasks across projects and product iterations.
  • Design, implement, review, and test solutions for both existing and new product portfolios.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality and reliable firmware.


We’re seeking candidates with:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybernetics, Robotics, or Embedded Systems is preferred. However, candidates with degrees in Electronics, Mechatronics, or other related fields will also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Systems and C/C++ programming.
  • Practical experience in mechanics and electronics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python or Git, as well as experience designing and developing reusable firmware libraries and modules, is highly valued.
  • Ability to solve challenges, work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.

Location for this role is either our Headquarter in Nedre Vats or our office in Oslo, Lysaker.
