Back End Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer (Java)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot to build low-latency, high-throughput APIs and scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain low-latency, high-throughput APIs.
• Develop reusable components and services for backend applications.
• Work with relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for efficient data modeling.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and functional programming.
• Hands-on experience with Git/BitBucket for version control.
• Familiarity with Kotlin is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Unix shell scripting.
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch and GraphQL.
• Experience with caching technologies like Hazelcast or Redis.
