Senior Java Software Engineer

As a core of the customer's engineering team, we work on product initiatives and enhancements. We perform backend software development, help debug across various microservices and databases, design solutions, and solve problems with engineers within and outside the team.

IF YOU ARE

• Hands-on with object-oriented programming (OOP) and Java development
• Highly proficient in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Aware of relational databases
• Familiar with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
• Skilled in software design patterns
• Accustomed to CI/CD pipelines
• Good at working with little direction to resolve blockers
• A sound communicator with a collaborative spirit
• An expert in Spring framework (as an advantage)
• Experienced with AWS and Terraform (would be a huge plus)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code with Java 8 and higher using Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot
• Build out differentiated app experiences
• Release architecture
• Integrate tests and tooling
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers across the organization to understand and tackle technical challenges specific to the Canadian market
• Be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle: z designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and improving software
