Senior Big Data Software Engineer (Azure)

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), data operations, and troubleshooting, preferably with Healthcare data
• Proficient in the Azure ecosystem, particularly in Azure Data Factory and ADLS
• Skilled in Python and SQL
• Knowledgeable in distributed data pipeline tools such as Apache Spark and Databricks
• Experienced in database modeling and its applications
• Adept with libraries like Pandas and NumPy

• Hit the ground running and elevate products as the business scales and grows
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for scalability
• Review project objectives and determine the best technology for implementation
• Follow best practices for development, build, and deployment automation
• Manage daily operations of the data infrastructure and support engineers and analysts with data investigations and operations
• Monitor and report on data pipeline tasks, ensuring quick corrective action in case of issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand current processes and identify areas for efficiency gains
• Write reusable, well-abstracted, and efficient code
