A college in Geelong is looking to recruit a Network & Systems Administrator for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and excellent career development opportunities.

Your new role

• Managing and maintaining a wide range of systems, network and security technologies to ensure their optimal operation.
• Supporting and maintaining the wired and wireless network.
• Delivering a broad range of projects end-to-end.
• Acting as an escalation point for the level 1 & 2 IT support team.
• Developing and maintaining documentation to outline best practice and processes.
• Conducting research & development tasks on the latest solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining systems & network infrastructure.
• Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Azure, Intune and VMware / Hyper-V.
• Proven experience with configuring & troubleshooting Next-Generation firewalls (i.e. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, SonicWall, etc) and HP / Aruba switches.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as HP, Aruba, Palo Alto, Microsoft and Azure certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working within the Education sector is advantageous.
• A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
