Network Engineer | Sydney CBD | Work from home 3 days per week

Your new role

• Implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
• Troubleshooting network issues and performing root cause analysis
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Participate in project planning and implementation, including network upgrades and migrations
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and other IT staff
• 70% BAU and 30% project focused
• Hands on with the MPLS to SD-WAN migration

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum CCNA certification in Routing and Switching
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and other network security technologies
• Project experience, including network upgrades and migrations
• Previous experience with MPLS to SD-WAN migration is desirable
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with experience in both cloud and on-premises technologies

• CCNP certification in Routing and Switching
• Experience with MPLS and other advanced networking technologies
