Freelance Embedded Linux Specialist

Location: Belgium (Hybrid work possible)

Job Type: Freelance, Project-Based

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Optimize system performance and ensure reliability.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in embedded systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system design and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded Linux development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with kernel development and device drivers.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
