Network Consulting Engineer WLAN
Location: remote
Contract: B2B
We are looking for an experienced Consulting Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced networking solutions. This role involves working directly with customers to plan and deploy cutting-edge technologies that align with business outcomes while ensuring the integration of tools, systems, and service assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize complex networking solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and drive successful technology transitions.
- Support pre-sales activities by translating business requirements into actionable solution designs.
- Create, review, and deliver detailed project documentation, including high/low-level designs and implementation plans.
- Build and leverage test environments to address compatibility and configuration challenges.
- Develop customer collateral, portals, and knowledge transfer materials.
Expertise and Skills Required:
- Advanced knowledge of wireless solutions, including WLAN controllers, RF technologies, and identity services.
- Experience with 9800 WLC architecture, fabric-enabled wireless, and AP management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with proficiency in configuring and deploying complex networks.
- Certifications: Equivalent to CCIE Wireless (preferred), CCNP Wireless, or CCNP R&S. CWNP is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Proven ability to work under dynamic conditions and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with global stakeholders and conveying technical concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5–8 years of relevant experience (advanced degree preferred).
