Business Functional Analyst

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

As part of one of the internationally staffed agile teams of the Private Bank One Data Platform, you are part of the " Technology Data Innovation" division. The focus here is on developing, designing and providing different solutions in data warehousing, reporting and analytics for the Private Bank to ensure that necessary data is provided for operational and analytical purposes.

The PB One Data Platform is the new strategic data platform of the Private Bank and uses the Google Cloud Platform as the basis. With Google as a close partner, we are following Deutsche Bank’s cloud strategy with the aim of transferring or rebuilding a significant share of today’s on-prem applications to the Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:

To improve the PB One Data Platform, we are looking for an experienced Business Functional Analyst (BFA) with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of technical requirements analysis in big data processes and technologies. This person is supposed to take over the role of the product winner for one of our teams.

• Support the evaluation and development of data design patterns and data workflows and data models according to the business requirements and control environment
• Accompany/design all levels of agile planning (product vision, roadmap, release planning, sprint planning, Daily Scrum)
• Technical and functional coordination within the PB One Data Platform Team and interface to other IT areas and specialized page
• Documentation and verification of requirements in Confluence and Jira
• Support for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlogs, as well as testing the data processes
• Functional review and acceptance of the developed features in the Scrum team.

Skills:

• Higher education in a scientific or technical field with a clear IT focus, as well as comparable training
• At least 2 years of Experience in the field of data-driven digital solutions focusing on data platforms and data warehousing
• Provable knowledge and experience in the field of big data and data warehousing and data modeling (Data Vault experience is a plus)
• Good knowledge of the agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
• Good knowledge of technology & database concepts, SQL, ETL, data analytics
• Experience in cloud environments would be beneficial
• We require social and intercultural competence for the successful handling of all internal and external and international stakeholders, as well as good analytical, conceptual thinking, analytical skills, pronounced autonomy and initiative
• Language skills German (nice to have) and English: negotiation-safe and written.
