A very early stage API-driven start-up based in Sweden is looking for a Founding Frontend Developer with a can-do attitude. Their goal is to reduce product waste.

Their MVP has been established and but now they are looking to redesign and rebuild the platform which will be focused on elevated performance, security and scalability.

The Role:

As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, maintaining and securing their products to drive connectivity. This role involves coding, setting development standards, and ensuring solutions are delightful to use, reliable, performant and scalable.

• Build and production designs incorporating animations, transitions, and other interactive elements.
• Work on the frontend design system that supports high-visibility mission-critical projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
• Own and lead projects, support other frontend engineers, advocate for technical and process improvements, mentor junior engineers, and follow best practices.

Experience:

• At least 6 years of engineering experience.
• Strong React, Vue, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Working experience with RESTful API and GraphQL.
• Worked at a start-up.
• Design orientated - must have an eye for delivering high-quality UX.
• A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms
