Software Engineer ll, Full Stack, Google Cloud Artificial Intelligence

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience in C, C++, Python, Go.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the service for efficiency and throughput.
• Deliver developer friendly experiences.
• Collaborate with the Google Research team, Product managers, and other infrastructure teams to offer Vector Search as a Google Cloud AI platform solution.
