About the role

We are looking for a person who is confident in taking responsibility for managing our IT Projects and who thrives in the complexity of a global organization. The IT Project Manager will lead complex IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Responsibilities include defining project scope, managing resources, timelines, and risks, and maintaining high standards of software quality. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is key to aligning solutions with business objectives.

The primary tasks:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Manage project budget and resource allocation.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Lead and manage development teams, providing technical guidance and conducting regular code reviews.
• Ensure high standards of software quality and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT project management or a related role.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and digital security.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and manage budgets for projects.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues that could impact project timelines.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in software development, including understanding the software development lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
