DevOps Engineer

Reports to: Head of DevOps

We are committed to our future growth and building a global team. Today we're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us in our Oslo office, ideally 4 days a week with some flexibility available.

You will play a core role in ensuring a stable, secure, maintainable development environment. You will collaborate with the Engineering, Product and Customer Support teams. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the career and looking for a talented team to learn and grow with.

On a Typical Day, You Will

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure
• Investigate and resolve issues in production individually and by swarming with the team
• Develop software updates and ‘fixes’ and help product teams run applications in production
• Be a part of the incident response team, including performing quarterly incident response and disaster recovery fire drills
• Assess current systems and processes, and develop ways to improve them
• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers
  
  

We Imagine You Will Bring

• At least 1+ years of experience as DevOps engineer, Sysadmin, developer or similar
• Experience with infrastructure, software design and cloud providers such as AWS and Azure would be beneficial
• Experience working with modern infrastructure like Terraform and Kubernetes
• Understanding of operational and security aspects of application hosting
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles, and the ability to apply them
• Preferably good Linux and sysadmin skills
• Know how to prioritise tasks and grasp new concepts quickly to a high standard
• Methodical approach to solving problems and a natural curiosity to learn
