Senior Associate, AIOT & UX/UI Designer

As part of our team, you'll work on innovative digital applications that enhance the user experience and operational efficiencies across the airport. Collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team to design, prototype, and deploy IoT and AI applications, elevating the way we serve our connected customers. 

 

As a digital innovator, you’ll help redefine our processes to generate competitive advantages, focusing on AIOT and product/UXUI design to bring value to our end-users. Your role will include: 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • IoT and AI Applications: Support the design, development, and deployment of IoT and AI solutions, including sensors, edge devices, video analytics, object detection, and AI/ML algorithms for prototyping and proof-of-concept purposes. 

  • Prototyping & Feasibility Testing: Develop prototypes to assess the technical feasibility and user desirability of use cases proposed by business units. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with scrum teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, maintaining a clear line of communication between product design and technical development. 

  • Agile Development: Apply agile principles to develop, test, and iterate applications to achieve project goals. 

  • Product & UX/UI Design: Collaborate with product owners and developers to scope and deliver design solutions that align with product goals. This includes: 

  • Facilitating workshops and using design thinking methodologies for discovery. 

  • Conducting and analyzing user research to gather actionable insights. 

  • Translating research insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, creating experiences that are intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. 

  • Presenting design outcomes to stakeholders for feedback and iteration. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, Digital Media), computer science, information technology, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in UX/UI or UX Research, and/or a minimum 2 years of experience in IoT and AI application development. Graduates with relevant internship experience and portfolios are welcome. 

  • Proficiency in user-centered design and research methodologies, with strong collaborative skills for cross-functional teamwork. 

  • Familiarity with tools like Figma and various UX testing platforms. 

  • Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in programming microprocessors and microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32). 

  • Basic Linux knowledge; experience with AWS and Docker is a plus. 

  • Strong ability to communicate design concepts effectively, using empathy maps, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. 

  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
