We have an urgent requirement of Planning Engineer for our EPC project in QATAR BU .
Skills & Experience:
Shall have a Degree or Diploma from a recognized Engineering Institution.
Minimum 8 years' experience as a Technical Planner and scheduler of activities associated with an oil/gas facility.
Computer skills should include a working knowledge of technical planning utilizing Primavera P6 are preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
Job Responsibilities:
Defines Construction activities, resources (manpower & equipment) and logistic requirements.
Prepares short and long-term construction schedules for activities identified, identifies key milestones, manpower histogram, S-curve for each WO.
The schedule shall be presented in PERT or CPN planning technique to various levels of detail (I-V as appropriate) with activity duration of early finish, late finish & most likely (as control)
Provides precise method of measuring physical progress & definition of activity completion
Tracks monitors and control schedule for each WO. Where necessary provides corrective actions to recover schedule delay & provides look ahead schedules.
Ensures co-ordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines during Construction execution, to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth construction execution.
Prepares comprehensive construction execution report for evaluation and future reference.
Administration of Primavera P6 including consistency of database structure.
Provides Primavera P6 training where required.
