- Lead Data Governance initiatives, collaborating with Business Departments, Data Owners, and Data Stewards.
- Develop and enforce data quality standards across the organization.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring data-related requirements are integrated into operational planning.
- Perform data mapping, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze source systems, identify data quality issues, and provide root cause analysis.
- Define and implement data quality rules and metadata management practices.
- Establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Promote data literacy across the organization, empowering teams to derive insights.
- Define use cases for data management and governance based on organizational data maturity.
- Guide data design for large projects, ensuring alignment with data architecture principles.
- Oversee end-to-end data lifecycle management activities.
- Ensure business reports and metrics derived from controlled data are accurate and reliable.
- Enterprise Data Management – Data integration, security, metadata management, master data management, data governance, data warehousing, and data quality (Advanced).
- Data Lineage & Business Glossary – Advanced knowledge.
- Enterprise Data Architecture – For both transactional and analytical platforms (Advanced).
- Data Governance Tools – Advanced proficiency.
- Agile Methodologies – Strong understanding (Advanced).
- Data Visualization & BI Analytics Tools – Hands-on experience (Intermediate).
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills (Written & Spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- 7+ years in data solution architecture, design, and development across OLTP systems and data warehouses.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance & master data management.
- 3+ years in reporting & analytics.
- Prior experience in the Banking/Financial Services industry is strongly preferred.
